Even this machine concept is applicable to all winding tasks, where shaftless winding of flat webs is necessary,  the primary application of this winding machines are printing lines respectively the paper manufacturing and the paper converting industry.

Whether the AW 1500S will be integrated into a newly designed production line or into a new designed plant, roll quality is always paramount!  Therefore the winder can be equipped with driven rider rolls for optimisation of the winding quality during the indexing process as well as  with slitting devices for edge trimming. Individual handling devices are also available.
