Slitting

Slitting of a web is done for cutting of edge trims and for dividing the whole web into several single webs. Depending on the type of material and the material characteristics different cutting principles are used.

Depending on the material the cutting principles blade cut, Score cut or Scissors cut will be used. Adjustment of the cutting width can be done manually or motorized. At motorized adjustment the positioning can be done by a manual selection or automatically.
