Automatic Butt-Splice Units

If it is not allowed or desired to have an overlapped splice during unwinding, a SOMATEC Butt-Splice Unit can be used for an automated butt-splicing at minimum stop time. During splicing the web is either taped on one or both sides and an edge guiding system ensures an edge true splicing result.
