LSF in Laußig has been established for many decades as a manufacturer of special-purpose machinery for the refinement and processing of web materials. At the beginning of 2026, SOMATEC took over the service and spare parts business as well as parts of the machine portfolio.

For operators of existing LSF systems, this means they can continue to rely on one reliable point of contact, secured spare parts supply, and technical support from a single source. At the same time, SOMATEC is integrating the proven LSF machine concepts into its own portfolio and combining them with its own decades of expertise in winding technology.
