2 Mil. Euro order for Somatec

SOMATEC delivers new slitting and winding machines  to the leading airlaid producer Concert

After the Concert GmbH - located in Pritzwalk, Germany - has published in May of this year that they will invest approx. 50 Mil. Euro into a new third production line for airlaid products, SOMATEC now successfully could get its part from this investment. The company Concert ordered a slitting and rewinding machine and a jumbo reel winder from SOMATEC, after SOMATEC has already delivered miscellaneous components to Concert in Germany and in Canada in the past.

Crucial for this success was SOMATEC's machine concept which was individually orientated to Concert's demand which fully convinced Concert's production team. Start of the new line shall be in September 2009; Concert provides approx. 100 new jobs and operates then the world largest airlaid production line.
